Support the Troops, Buy Mojo Friday Apparel

Yep, you read that right, Mojo Friday has apparel. The proceeds from the sale of this apparel will be used to support the efforts of another kossack. That kossack being Ninepatch. Many of you read her diaries and mailed off your own Care Packages as she discussed, but she does much more than just care packages.
 
Ninepatch is a seamtress, so she also does many projects for the troops that involves her sewing skills. She makes sandscarves and coolties. The material for these items and the special requests of some of her recipients are where the proceeds will go. Best case scenario, there will be a need for these items for at least two more years.
 

With Bush in the WH we know there will be no withdrawal this year, and if we do get a Dem in the WH ideally the last of our combat soldiers will be out by the end of 2009. So until then there is a need for the items that Ninepatch produces.
 
Let's look forward to the time when all of our troops are home, will there be a need for Ninepatch's products? The answer is yes, but a different product. A product that will be a niche product, a product may not have a mass market comparable item. That product will be personalized clothing for some of the returning veterans. Traumatic wounds that cause the loss of limbs have far great outcomes than there used to be. The technology of prosthetics has come a long way from the peg leg of pirate lore, but there are still cases where regular off the rack clothing just won't do. For that small niche Ninepatch is prepared to fill that need. Hopefully at no cost to the recipient.
 
Now, how is it that Mojo Friday came to have a line of apparel you ask? Well we have quite a few dedicated mojo givers. So, when on of them designs a Mojo Friday Logo, someone else immediately yelled; "I want a T-shirt with that." And off we go.
